About Us

Pancreatic cancer India is the brain child of five leading oncology experts of India. The experts are specialists in different forte of oncology and belong to different regions of India but share a keen common interest in research and management of pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is ranked fifth in the causes of cancer related deaths in USA and there is a rise in the incidence in India, creating a gaping need for knowledge and awareness of pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer India aims at improving management and treatment outcomes of pancreatic cancer. The site primarily serves as a platform for building awareness on pancreatic cancer and periampullary tumors in patients and care givers as well as healthcare professionals.

‘Knowledge Leads to Awareness’ is the key thought behind this initiative as early diagnosis and referral can significantly improve the treatment outcome of pancreatic cancer. The site focuses on delivering updated information on Pancreatic Cancer and Periampullary tumors and reflects the latest findings with a view to disseminate them to a vast national audience.

It is a collaborative work between the editorial team, Indegene Life sciences and Roche Scientific Company (India) Pvt Limited, Mumbai.
